Selections From a Living Series by Jenny Holzer is without a doubt my favorite piece in the Walker Art Center’s sculpture garden. It consists of twenty eight granite benches, each one with a short observation or description carved into them. The pictures give you a pretty good idea of the nature of the observations: very flat, calm language describe creepy or unsettling things. I make a point of going to see it every time I’m there.
